A Catholic history lover publishing her debut historical romance.

About Secret Dwellings

During the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, the Protestant Reformation was in full bloom.

Catholics, especially priests and those hiding them, were considered treasonous. If discovered, they were imprisoned, tortured, and killed.

Isabel Dawson, a young Catholic woman, and her brother Jonathan, fearlessly shelter the priests within their home. Just as their Papa had done before them.

Amidst intrigue, escapades, romance, danger, and blackmail, Isabel is faced with the ultimate sacrifice: to lay down her life for another in a most unusual way.

About the Author

Hi, thanks for checking out my website! I’m Angelina Salvaggio, author of Secret Dwellings.

I’m a Catholic wife, mom, and have been writing for most of my life. I am a self-proclaimed nerd who loves history, Adoration, reading, and going to Comic Cons.

Originally from New England, I moved to the Midwest at eighteen and soon after, met and married the love of my life.

When home, I am routinely getting my butt kicked in Monopoly, dodging Nerf bullets or stray Lego bricks, cooking up a favorite recipe, or enjoying a movie. My favorite moments are spent with my family and friends. And my little dog too.

I do struggle with various health issues, but am so grateful to have been able to finish my debut novel!

I have always loved period romances and reading about various saints. St. Edmund Campion lit a fire in my soul and thanks to him, Jane Austin, and Charolette Brontë, a thirty year long dream has come to life in Secret Dwellings.

Secret Dwellings will be released May 5th, 2025!

Pre-orders will be available soon.
